THE TUNNEL

DARK, THEN LIGHT.
AGAIN.

I’m going from dark, to light — then back again.

I’m walking into the dark time; then back to the light time.

But any path, light, and dark — that is the Beauty way.

You wind, and turn, enter and egress — and keep going. To the Beauty.

I’m thinking about the rhythm of experience — the ups and downs, ins and outs, the good and the bad — and the perpetual tunnel that reveals, then disappears.

Walking anywhere, there are moments when the light comes bursting forth like the surge of an extraordinary idea. That sparking might be just after the long shaft of darkness — a corridor that shows no end — and, as you enter, are you really in the beginning.

The sentiment might be that there isn’t a beginning to the tunnel, while you’re sensing that you’ve just strode into it — you’ve already been there, for a long time; and the mystery of the movements — that passage inwards — it carries you along. Light filters — long ahead; or just behind.

And you keep walking — either the long way. Or the Beauty way.
