I couldn’t really see.
The windshield was so mucked with road spittle, winter drivel, the cleaning fluid was frozen, I tried a bottle of old Roger & Gallet Vetiver — seeing if that would remove the snow and mud from the front (and the rear window).
It worked, but infused the car with this Parisian scent – clean, but complicated, a little too citric to be worn. But it works on the windshield.
Standing there, as the snow fell on the freeway to Vancouver, I drew this, as a trial — on the roadway — in acknowledgment.
