Rummaging for a hat, the other day, I found an old baseball cap that I’d given my daughter. She never liked it, though I thought she’d like the pug-like expression of the front panel. But didn’t.
I think it might’ve been the coloration, which was sort of a muddied yellow device along with a yellow and black detail for the bill and back clasp.
I got into dyeing a sequence of articles, all black. There were some things that were already black, and I was trying to make them more blackened; and some of them were other colors, and I was trying to make them — black.
This hat has now become a cool hat. Cause it’s black.
But the sentiment is interesting for me. KEEP SMILING.
A friend of mine was having a laboriously tough time — simply day after day after month, on month of trials and challenges. He told me that if he kept smiling, it wasn’t so bad.
And I was thinking, that the idea of smiling, as well as laughing, seems to vanquish the gloom that can beset anyone — gliding the bloom, or sliding doom.
SMILING WORKS HARDER THAN ANYTHING.
