IN THE OPENING OF ANY DAY
THE IDEA OF BEING
SLIGHTLY CRAZY
SETS THE PACE FOR
WHAT COULD BE
CELEBRATING THE
GRANDEST BREATH IN.
OR — EXHALING
YOUR LAST.
You never know.
It’s not that every day could have a crazy dance, but most should — starting a springing: sprung, in the origin of creative movement might be a good strategy for the inspiration of any Dawn. Dawn comes, but once a day — perhaps she should be celebrated.
Walking the bitter cold, writhing iced winds at that time — just past 6.00am, the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, standing on rock, Raven’s crackling rainbow black the morning breeze, cackling their own dance, rising in the updrafts like great charcoal burnt cloaks, wind rags croaking the ancient echos of their call — they too, surveil the surround for opening of everything.
And they, like I, open the Box of Light for the day — one dance, to get things right.
